AN ORGANIC GLOW FOR SUMMER SKIN

A FEW OF OUR FAVORITES

Posted by Trisha Watson on

I am not going to claim to be a veteran. I too am still learning. Last September we started homeschooling. It can be an interesting entity to navigate so here are a few of our favorites, that in the beginning, we weren't aware of and upon getting to know, somehow made daily homeschooling come with more ease.

We love learning the best when in nature and there is no better time to do so than in the midst of a brand new spring where the earth has just been freshly rinsed. Here you will find nature based learning resources that I hope you all enjoy. Somehow teaching in nature feels as effortless as nature itself.

WHAT CHILDREN LEARN IN THE GARDEN

HAPPINESS IS HERE (an informative blog post about the art of unschooling)

Although I haven't embarked on the adventure quite yet, this is a schooling method that I am wildly in love with and am really feeling like it might be a good fit for my son. Its purpose is to enjoy unrushed and leisurely learning.

I included an unschooling link because I feel the basics of unschooling is to let go of expectations altogether which might fall perfectly into place with the sudden situation currently taking place in the world today. Let go, relax and breathe, finding stillness in home educating.

This method offers mothers the enjoyment of a rich world of education with their little natural born learners and elaborates on the Childs existing interests while letting go of expectations of schooling and just simply learning from one another. It is great for long breaks like Summer vacay as well!

I really hope this sparks some inspiration and you find yourself lost in adventure. If not, PLEASE, flood my inbox!! I will be waiting for you!!

Love always, Trisha
